Re: bridgestone bto16
thanks gaz mine will need doing soon and arlington motorcycles are doing them for about £89.99 ish dependin what size
Re: bridgestone bto16
Was going to give them ago next time round.
My front 2ct just keeps wearing weired and i have to keep havin them balanced. The pitch ends up really pointed and there are some weired wear bumps going on.
But they grip fabulous
Love them.
If you do go for the 016 keep us posted on the feeling and wear please

ok will do, i know lee at arlington so will be getting them done there, hes just got all new equipment at his new place in paignton, and he owes me a custom paint job so got to stay sweet with him

Re: bridgestone bto16
I haven't tried them but if they're anything like the 014 they're awesome. My tyre of choice.

Re: bridgestone bto16
Got the 021, great in the wet & they've kept their shape well after 1500 odd miles. Although I almost lost the front on a roundabout, but I think it was from cold tyres & riding over some repair bonding.

Some say run a 16 on the front and a 21 on the rear for road use. Cause the 21 lasts a bit better but still provides good grip. And on the front you can get away with running the 16 as it won't wear as fast. But if your going on track days with your road bike i'd run a pair of 16's.

From what i have read on other Forums they are not like the 014 they are far far better. I will be going for the Maxxis Supermaxx Sport next as they come highly recommended and they are £145 a pair. Far superior grip to the 014 and good wear rate as well.
Out of interest that price you were quoted was really cheap for the 016 as i was looking at £245 fitted with a bit of discountandyzzr1100 wrote:thanks gaz mine will need doing soon and arlington motorcycles are doing them for about £89.99 ish dependin what size

i do love the 021 and I use it all the time for it's longevity and ability in the wet. But I've never had confidence in the front on them, always feels as though it wants to get away from you. The 014 is my tyre of choice so as I said i can't wait to have a try on the 016.

Re: bridgestone bto16
well i`ll pop in tomorrow and get the price for mine and let you know, they come cheaper by the pair and he fits and balances them there, ive got a michelin on the rear and a avon on the front from when i got the bike which have done me for 2500 miles and still mot able but starting to feel a bit wierd now,
Re: bridgestone bto16
Where do you go for your tyres? I tend to go to CMS in preston always cheapest for me.
