2009 R1 and Diversion

Post by steve-d »

Some new pictures of the new R1, looks bloody wierd to me, especially the headlights.
Plus they've brought back the diversion :D
Personally I do actually quite like it  but I really can't see it selling, who would buy one, would pick a Fazer or SV over it every time, which will both do the same job.

Agreed, new r1 looks crap compared to the older versions ! What is with its rear end, and horrible exhausts !! The 08 was soo muhc nicer !

And not sure on the divvy, can see it selling well though as a general commuting bike !
Bikes-
Yamaha TZR125 (sold)
Kawasaki ER5 (sold)

From that angle i quite like the R1,id have to see it all over to make a proper judgement tho.....headlights look a bit too hollow :?

Divvy looks quite spanking for what it is,you can still see the original design in there 8)
Bikeless again :/

The diversion looks like its going to be the new TDM. It has a similer design minus the strange headlight that the TDM always had.
Apparently I'm supposed to care!!
