Marc got me wondering now was the bike pretty cold how far were you into your journey. I know with some bikes unless they are warmed up properally, when you down shift or upshift and the revs fall to fast causing the bike to stall in gear the back wheel can lock up, If this ever happens you must be quick and hold in the clutch in, whilst starting the bike then kick up or down back into gear and let the clutch out slowly just incase then you can grab again if too low or high in gear if that makes sense is a little trick I learn't else your back wheel will lock and slide if it stalls.

Mine did that this morning... throttle wouldn't roll off, brakes wouldn't work, doing 70(ish) up the slip road... not terribly fun!

There's really no merit in trying to beat Funky's record of cr-ash's and claims
LOL I can asure you I'm not gunning for Funky's record, what was it again

Getting my perm cast today  then it's only 4 weeks to go then I can ride again. I still haven't had the heart to take a proper look at the Ninja since it happened, I think it would breake my heart...

You might be onto something there Nath, my bike did have a bit of an issue with the revs dropping out, but it hadn't happened for a little while before hand.

Well I'm off to the Hospital, what colour cast should I get 8)
Cheers, Marc.

I believe it to be 4 bikes in one year...

1 written off due to my own fault
1 Written off due to a car cutting a corner on me
1 Stolen
The final one is still going strong... touch wood.

Well, I've got through white, green, and blue ...... I wanteed to have orange, but they'd run out, so if I'd had to have another was going to go with red ...... instead I've now got a more natural flesh-like "scaly pink" under the tubi-grip that delights in changing colour dependant on elevation

If you feel comfortable with ypurself, I suggest the lilac or Barbie pink ones

LOL my hair is getting a bit long but I'll never be seen with a perm 8)

I had to go for the red, thought about a blue to match my Ninja but red is my fave colour.
Some good news though, I'll be out of a cast in 2 weeks, a whole 2 weeks sooner than they predicted... If all goes well that is. :D

Couldn't believe the muscle wastage though, gotta get back to the gym LOL
Cheers, Marc.
