We have riden India for the WWF, ridden to South Turkey and back for the Jennifer Trust, and of course done the usual easter, xmas, rides in our area, and putting up a weekend free B&B for 2 for raffles to raise mony for NABD and other goood causes...
Now we are stepping up a gear sponsoring a bunch of squaddies from the 1st Medical Regiment who are riding to Timbuktoo on Army Harley Davidson trail bikes. Their Website
Well you could have knocked me sideways last October when La-Belle-Wendy (Mrs) informed me she had had a telephone call from a bunch of squaddies (well 1 actually) who were doing a charity ride to raise money for Help-4-Heros and were looking for accommodation for the route down... She had said Yes come on over we will sort you out even put on a curry and some beers, no charge... Oh and there are 22 of them... Well it is for a good cause...
The group has shrunk to just 17 thankfully Consisting of 8 riders + 9 in 4 support vehicles. You can read more about them here on Pages 38/39
What do you think do you do the charity thing - and are we MAD?

I think it's wonderful of you
You are in a position to help, and are doing so .... and for a good cause too
