New rider here. Torquay 50cc.

Post by nunswimming »

Hi all.

Am 16 only been riding about 5 weeks.
Have had hail, snow, wind, rain and more recently sunshine!! thrown at me.

I ride a Derbi GPR 50.
See picture... (Took the day I bought it. Has been Autosol'd, cleaned, polished etc since so looks smarter now)

Not a really a motorbike only playing at one with it being a 50cc.
But is more useful to me than riding a twist and go moped.

Is great fun but only really using it as a stepping stone to learn some skills on before taking my A2 license in September.
Then will probably get an RGV 250/RVF 400 or the like.

Anyone local may have seen me riding around. Ride to school and back twice a day but am always out and about on it.

So just a hello really to you all and even more respect having ridden a bike for myself and know first hand whats involved.

See you found your way onto here from BCF.

Welcome to the site, stick around. Lots of rideouts on here when the weather picks up a bit. Lots of experienced people on here that you can learn a lot from, I certainly have in the year I've had my lisence.

PS you haven't done a very good job on the wheels :P

Welcome mate, good to see you on here, hopefully you will make it on the rides sometime.
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.
