MANY THANKS SP MOTORCYCLES

Post by billinom8s »

Just wanted to say a big thankyou to the (broken legged)team at SP in exeter, have had a couple of little issues with my wheels this week and they have helped me out a treat.

firstly with getting a right b'stard of a disc bolt out and secondly with getting the remains of a roller bearing out of the rear wheel, especially as bridge(i was there cos they charge less to remove the tyres) said that it would only come out after a couple of hours work, maybe some welding and alot of luck as they couldn't guarantee that the wheel would be any good afterwards.

maybe their mechanics should take a walk down the road and watch the SP boys. it took them 10 mins with a hammer, old screwdriver and deft tapping.

once again many thanks.

Ah yes,the old hammer & screwdriver tapping technique saves the day again. :)

If all else fails it's always rewarding to know we can go back to our primative ways & give it a wack.
(although now refined...( i.e.deft).

Got me out of trouble many a time.

I second the views and points made about SP.

They have become my top pic for mecahnical work locally lately and a great bunch.

Steve at Peak will still my suspension work though when needed
