Noticed last night that Lord Ahmed is being released after serving only 16 days of the 12 weeks. Apparantly because of his community work. Some might think it is more to do with the fact that he is a Labour Pier and ex government minister. He wasn't on a bike of course when he killed someone so that would be OK.

Corruption is alive, well and kicking in our ruling elite.

I read that this morning too. He ploughed into a stranded car, killing the occupant and husband and father of 2 children. What was the lord doing at the time? texting on his phone and had been doing so for a while responding to texts and compsing lengthy ones.

You know what they say - it's not what you know, it's who you know! Thats why these types of people in influencing jobs (and with money) always get off light.
