Do any of your mates have a Full driving license, if so borrow a van ( or hire if they are old enough) and go get it!

On most "fabricated" ally frames, a dent or scrape on the side of the beam isn't the end of the world ....... you don't throw a car away just got it has a dent in the wing, do you

Depending on the depth of the dent/scar, you can weld a little tab in the centre of the impact and pull it out a bit with a slide hammer, then fill whats left with ally weld and grind and polish or paint so it's invisible 8) Done this a couple of times with no problems at all :D

If the dent/crease is up around the headstock, it's a different story, and you have to play very carefull ..... some bikes (R1's) are notoriously weak in this area ......

Another thing to watch on ally frames with frontal impacts, especially on bikes with USD forks, is that the steering bearing seats (and fork legs around the seals) can become ovalled, and it'll always cause problems thereafter ....
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....

Handle stressful situations like a dog - If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away

Check out the way the fairing panel is way off in the 6th photo.
It's not even close to mating up with the upper fairing.
I'd want that panel off and have a good look underneath at the mounting points.
That's the only trouble with fairings.
They can hide a multitude of sins.
