I Popped My Cherry Today 3/04/09

Post by Tomahawk R1 »

Well it finally happened!

Coming back towards Exmouth town centre from the sea front today, Taking the Right hand turn into Alexandra Terrace from the sea front i failed to notice the Diesel/oil/ whatever it was spill on the road and before i could say "Mummy" the front wheel decided to take a different direction than me!

The helmet took the brunt of the fall as i went face first into the road  A bit sore on my chest and hip and my left hand is giving me grief.

Not so much damage to the bike which surprised me, Has anyone got a rear brake pedal for an 05 Z750?

Oh and once again billinom8s came through for me, thanks mate for all your help today, you`re a life saver! 8)

I'm sorry I couldn't answer the phone to you after your off as I was driving but did ring soon as I got back to Exeter. I'm not so sorry that I was to bussy at work today to have gone out with you as no doubt it would have been me that tock the spill. :(

Hope you don't feal to soar tomorrow and be fit enough for a bimble on Sunday. :)

P.S. have you manage to find the other bits you needed for the bike? If not post a list up and I'll have a look for you mate.

Happens so damn quick doesn't it. At least you and the bike are ok.

I'm betting a fiver the first thing you did after coming off was to get straight up and pick your bike up.
