His injuries are as follows, broken right thigh which has now been pinned, 3 broken vertebrae but doctors are happy they will fuse together on their own...he still has full mobility. He has stripped all muscle and flesh from his backside thats the main worry and its where he lost most blood. He is doing well now all awake though a bit fed up. the prognosis is good. Cheers for all the messages of support guys and girls!

The accident itself I haven''t got a clue about, but it involved a corner, signpost, a big rock and me

All I can say is the Doctors and paramedics were in agreement, full leathers, helmet, gloves and boots saved me and my mobility. (I'll never ride in jeans again and never skimp on quality, you pay for what you get! thats for sure), even popping out for a coffee I'll be leathered up..

Injuries that I have are a broken thigh bone, 4 fracured vertebrae (no break-dancing for a while ) and without doubt, the worse injury, a de-gloved arse. Crikey, never felt pain like it, Having it un-packed and re-packed every couple of days has to be the worse medical procedure I've been through. But then again, hopefully in a week or two I'll be walking again.

I'm also going to be giving blood and platelets as often as I can now. Can't beleive how selfish I've been over the years by not giving. I think as Bikers we have even more of a morale duty to give blood as anyone else. This really brought it home to me.

As fot the bike, yep its f*cked. but Insurance will pay out for it. Not sure what I'll be going for, but I'll be getting my saftey grear first, with whatever money I have left being the bike buget.

So ATM, I'm stuck in a hospital just outside breacon, but hey, I now got some internet working and I got a telly, and the main thing is I'm alive.

Once again thanks for all the messages and cheers to my house-mate Andy for helping me out.
