I had a Fireblade for 8 years until I wrecked it in October

. I absolutely loved it, and planned to buy an R1 to replace it, but have just bought an R6 because it is so much fun. I prefer the torque of the thou, it's fantastic for wheelies, and in that respect the 600 has no chance.
However, the 600 is a nimble revvy little bugger which makes me laugh every time I ride it, different sort of fun really. And the noise it makes at high revs with a race can is hugely satisfying.
The performance available from either is more than most riders can actually use, but that's not what it's really about is it?
