Depends on if your house has ever caught fire with your family inside or crashed your car and needed cutting out of it before your injuries killed you i suppose............

Well i have worked next to them and yes they have got my family out of a few close ones....
But they get paid too much compared to the police/ambulance service.

depends how you look at it really, like the armed forces you get paid for what you MIGHT have to do not what you actually have to do........

No its not really.....not being funny here...
All services are used every few minutes...whether its for a fire/ RTI/cat stuck in a tree....for each person, the work load is far greater for ambulance/police staff compared to the fire gays and they even had the balls to ask for more money....
That is all.
