Time for a fashion change on HELMETS !!

Post by Blimey »

What is it with helmet designs at mo, they all look dule and nothing that stands out.

I love the feel and quality of Shoei helmets so have had a good few of these over the years but looking around at mo and there isn't anything out there that takes my fancie at all.

I like my James Haydon rep helmet cause it has a big star eithier side and one big strip down the middle, stands out and looks different.

Everything out there well in the Shoei range just looks cr*p. All these silly chinese symbols and dragons etc

I would love for a Rossi rep but AGV's will just not fit my head and as it is i have to buy a Extra small for my peanut head

i'm after this one..

http://www.harpersraceshop.co.uk/item3089.htm

(the top one)

i have the older version of that helmet at the moment and love it. not to great at high speeds and is quite noisy but fits real nice. although i've dropped it lots now and want a change.. and these helmets are cheap :D

Have you considered that once it's on your head you can't see what it looks like?????

I totally agree - I've given-up hope of finding anything that I like as much as my original Rutter replica .. I've even resorted to looking for hardly-worn second-hand ones on fleabay!!
