TRAVEL ADVICE FOR LLANDOW

Post by deej »

Guys be careful on the m4 on your way to and fro llandow. There's a big golf tournament on at the celtic manor from wednesday onwards. There's already a larger than normal police prescence around newport due to this
There is 2 loaded speed cameras on the m4 westbound in the road works just after the celtic manor and this stretch usually has a unmarked car or two on it. There is also 1 maybe a 2nd camera on the eastbound carriageway to watch out for when returning home
Today there has been lots of police bikes whizzing up n down the m4 too, usually in a group of three so easy enough to see
Also look out for a cameravan on the last few flyovers before the toll bridge either way and don't forget to have cash with you as cards aren't accepted

Hope this helps you to be aware and not get caught by anyone. Keep the racing for the track and have a good one guys n girls

Yep... they've been hanging around that area for weeks now.

Don't speed through the 50mph road works either, several cameras in both directions.

They've had bike cops sat on all the slip roads between Newport and Cardiff lately too.

You got it mate...

As Deej says guys... Don't forget cash for the Toll Bridge... If you get there and haven't got cash, you can't turn around and go back so they send a bill to you for DOUBLE the normal cost...

theyve also got a land rover there that makes you follow it to the office and makes you drive round the back o it through a tunnel and back onto the m4 eastbound so you have to go back to bristol to get the cash and then drive back again. causes chaos as they stop all the barriers going up until the cars been removed and sent back to england

Pmsl at jay

Nick if you go that way regularly it might pay for you to get a bridge tag like I've got. Stick it in the window and up goes the barrier and you don't have the hassle or queues you get at the cash booths. I get work to prepay mine too, lol !!!

How much do they cost ? I go into Wales about 6 times a month.

Generally try to ensure I've got enough change with me to allow me to whip through the fast lane where you just dump the cash in the counter and push the button for a receipt... normally no queues on them ones.
