as for making it quieter at a trackday,if its aloud day you should be ok if its a 98db day then you'll need a baffle which the tdo can usually provide for you (at a cost of course ) so you can continue your day

yeah donington where ace with me last year, that sp1 i had with stubby akros and the enlarged airbox was running 99db so i doubt your tl will be much different so on a 105db you'll be fine matey. the trouble with donny is that the noise meter is built into the pitwall so picks you up rising through the rev range after a slow corner which is a pain in the arse as i had to ease off the throttle until i'd passed it

my 916 was only 98db with 50mm termis fitted on the static test at cadwell which is definetly a better way for passing the noise test than the ride bys

You might want to ring and check, some companys are a bit picky about restricted lisences I know Hottrax are, not sure about focused.
