leather alteration or new suit????

Post by Mike Hayward »

Hey all

Ok I bought my first suit of Ebay not so long ago, Teknic chicane hardly used, mint condition size 44 for a bargain price! anyway i've noticed especially after last nights ride out with cheesemonkey and co the area around the knees and forearms are tight - knees more so.

After getting home last night after about 2-3 hours on the bike my knee caps were burning up! even after a shower laying in bed my knees were really sore and really hot.

I've had a look to see if i can take out the knee protection but no can do, so looking for some advice, the suit fits realy well in length and ok i have a wee belly but not uncomfy here.
I just dunno whether to sell em on and look at another set or do i see if i can get them altered?

Thanks in advance

Mike

What was up with Colins :?

I can vouch for her quality ... she did a lovely job on my new jacket 8)

Which reminds me, I haven't phoned her to say how well it fits and how great a job she did  Thanks Gerry :D

I tried some Teknic suits when I was after a new one-piece and found there sizing completely out to other brands. I ended up getting a Berik suit from J&S and am well chuffed with it.
