My new crazy idea

only 2 weeks since my trip across europe to dubrovnik and back with my bike and my ipod for company I have a new Idea.

THE MONGOL RALLY

it's a fundraiser for charities in mongolia.

The Idea is you go in a team of either on car less than 1 litre or 2 bikes less than 125cc. From the UK to Ulaan Bataar in less than 4 weeks.
I won't be doing it next year as I'm getting married so not until year after.

Problem is as the bikes/cars are auction at the end for charity the mongolian Gov't has decieded that they need to be under 10 years old. Been looking at transport capable of the job and it holds it value like nobodies business, it needs to be cheap if i'm giving it away at the end.

My question is what bike would you take, and does anybody fancy being my second rider??

my workmate is doing this in 2011 on a ex usa desert storm bike kle500 (i think), the 125cc rule doesnt apply to him as hes going as a official cameraman
