Who says a stock bike is slow?

Post by DynaMight »

A certain Simon Andrews gets a completely stock ZX10R from a crate, tapes up the headlights and goes racing in the NGRRC Superstock championship....starts from 27th on the grid and comes 3rd just behind Richard Cooper and Phil Bevan: http://bikesportnews.com/articles/artic ... OAD_BIKE_1

Check out the laptimes: http://www.ngroadracing.org/results_dat ... rbikes.php Only Richard Cooper put in a faster laptime.

All you need is some crazy skills and racing would be fairly cheap.... ride there in the morning, remove number plate, tape lights, come third and ride home 8)

i did see he was doing this, think its a feature for BIKE magazine. didnt he also race a 600 too

makes you wonder what would have happened if he'd started on the front row, how gutted would cooper and bevan have been on their ex rob mac racing r1's to have been beaten by a stock zx10 :o :o :o

sounds like we could do a similair thing with colin and the rsv4

Think he's one of the most underrated riders in the BSB paddock at the minute. Will be interesting to see what ride he gets next year
