bulldog bash 2010

Hi all is the bulldog bash 2010 going ahead as i thought the police were going to let it go ahead?
also i have never been but wanted to and planed to go to next one,as a newbe apart from tent a sleeping bag what other items are considered necessary?

hiya mate, i went for the 09 bash, was really good laugh. And cheap little festival too . Ummm, usual camping gear really nothing special food, clothes, stove, beer . Highly recommend bringing your own beer as its a rip off once you get in there, about 2.50 a tin... Luckily stratford on avon is just down the road with a threshers right on the outskirts =D. As far as I'm aware it should be going ahead next year, nothing happened at this one, and all the hype about loads of police being there was rubbish, no more than any other festival. I plan on going in 2010 for sure. Hope this helps

I've been running the mobile dyno at the Bulldog for the last 3 years. As far as I know it will be going ahead, the organisers were granted a 10 year licence back in 08 after the local council threw out the police objections. You can almost gaurentee that the plod will start making rumblings in the lead up to the event, but I wouldn;t take too much notice. The local council and rotary club and all the local residents are firmly behind the bash taking place again. If you've never been then I suggect you go at least once in your life, it's the biggest and best bike party in the country with a huge range of bikes and bands, and RWYB drag racing, as well as some of the top drag cars and bike in the world doing demo runs.

Thanks all that has wetted my appitite and will be going to the next one sounds like a whole lot of fun!
