Has anyone tried new diablo rosso's

Post by payner »

Hi fellas has anybody ran the new pirelli corsa 3 replacement tyres yet. will be needing a new set of tyres for nurburgring and so called the new rosso is good in wet. always have had doubts about single compound tyres and do you think it would do the mileage including several laps of track (4 day trip) :?
if not will have to stick with old corsa 3 dont fancy being test pilot on my hols cheers

I have these tyres on my K5 GSXR600 - they've been on Cadwell and Pembrey trackdays and ran all year round and I have loved them. Loads of grip and no complaints - will be getting them again when I MOT this month.

the standard diablo corsa <single compound> is more than up to the job andy...and probably half the price ;0)

Used Single Compound Diablo Corsa's last year and did Pembrey x 2, Castle Combe x 2 & Snetterton on them with left and right knee down action on track and road before they started looking a bit tired.

Changed over to Pilot Power 2ct's this year as price is coming down due to being superceded by the Power Pure as I really liked the Power Ones I used at the tail end off last year.

So as above sure they'll be great tyres but you might be better of going for the single compund diablo corsa @ £140 a pair.
