ive got a few mates with moto x bikes and really fancy giving it a go! i fancy getting a road legal one so i can use it whereever, couple of downsides though, im a short ass so can only tip toe on them and id need one with an electric start cause ive got no chance of kick starting them!
i dont know much about what bikes are available out there, ive looked at ccm's as they seem to be a bit smaller so id have no problems touching the floor! only looking at spending £1500 tops, there are some lovely bikes for this price but not road legal ones!
any suggestions or help?

RMZ 250's are pretty good - a friend fared pretty well on his in Inters at Llandow
Most of 'em it's just a case of fitting a lighting coil isn't it
There's a fair few companies making the road bit's for most of the major manufacturers
As for the height issue, there's always these ......

Honda CRF250x ?
Me and my dad share it. He rides it on the road for greenlaning. I ride it off road on the weekends.
I'm a short arse aswell. And struggle to touch the ground. But you can get a lowering kit for it. Most of them also come with leccy start. Which is a big bonus as i'm too small too kick it over

there are loads of choices out there, the honda crf230, yamaha serrow225 (kick and electric start) or better still the gas gas pampera (2 stroke and kick start but incredibely easy to start and even easier to ride) give em all a look
