Just a word of warning for anyone who had the Suzuki K5/K6 1000 Frame Brace recall done by a certain Devon and Cornwall dealer!
Mine was done by them some time ago, and nothing thought further about it.
However, whilst in heavy traffic on Thursday, the Coolant Overheat/Low Oil Px Light came on. Panic - thinking it could be Low Oil Px with the associated impending disaster.
On investigation, discovered the fan wasn't running. Later investigation soon showed why, the fan wasn't connected. But further, the buffoons at the dealer had managed to trap the connector behind the brace when fitting it, neccessitating removal of the bodywork and radiator to release it.
Thankfully, tis all connected and working again now and an oil change will hopefully sort any possible oil break down that may have occurred.
So - if it was done down here - can only suggest you check your fan still works. It should cut in by 105C and off again by 100C.
Shall be off to vent my spleen at the dealer just as soon as I get it back together.

Initially there's only one I can think of .......
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....
Handle stressful situations like a dog - If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away
