Did I not hear last week that the engine rules where all changing for next year and evan allowing mod 1000cc stock. to get more bikes on the grid?

yep for 2012 you'll be able to run road based engines and have a larger fuel tank and more engines available. theres also a claiming rule which i dont yet fully understand where teams can buy engines from the manufacturers etc
