Where are they gonna get the money to develop an engine to take on the Japs :?

Rotary engine not in the MotoGP rules ........

Not from what has been suggested elsewhere ...... then they will have to overcome the historic question of it's cubic capacity :roll:

Did I not hear last week that the engine rules where all changing for next year and evan allowing mod 1000cc stock. to get more bikes on the grid? :o

yep for 2012 you'll be able to run road based engines and have a larger fuel tank and more engines available. theres also a claiming rule which i dont yet fully understand where teams can buy engines from the manufacturers etc
