Hel brake lines....

Post by badgerKDD »

Just a quikie, do we get a discount off these guys? I'v looked in members discounts and can't see them listed but I have some dim recollection of it being mentioned in a relavent topic a while back? Or is my old addled brain just lying to me again?

Thanks :D

Not sure if it's worth speaking to Ross at MY, his brother in law (Kevin who used to work there) now works for Hel.

ive always found goodridge better. HEL banjos tend to be a little leaky and air seems to accumulate round the caliper bajos aswell. dont seem to get that with goodridge quite as much/easily? wt do people think HEL or Goody's?

I have HEL on the front, Goodridge on the rear.

I went out to Tedburn on the bike one lunchtime, they measured exactly what I needed, and I went back after work to collect them. Perfect fit, one long one short (over wheel) line, three stainless banjo's, two stainless bleed nipples, £25 cash 8)

The goodridge rear was a freebie from Wez

I would say one is pretty much as good as the other

(ps - anyone heard of Wez lately :? )

Thats pretty steep, although my front is only one line to the caliper and one over the mudguard, which is a cheaper set up.

If I remember right, didn't the RD have hydraulic anti-dive, with extra lines :?
