Re-newed my CCT (CBR600RR05)

Post by Jay »

Well after doing Pembrey, i noticed that the CCT was making a horrible noise, especially when banging it down through the gears for the end of the start/finish hairpin.....

well after re-placing the CCT the engine is so smooth, just like the day i picked her up 37500 miles ago brand new.

So if your RR is sounding a tad rattly or noisy, then re-place the CCT.... it may save you £'s in the long run.

Does the RR have an 'automatic' tensioner on it? One of the one's that doesnt back off only tensions? Thats what my R6 has and that's rattling. I managed to adjust it so it stopped for a while but keeps coming back.
