Well we're buggers for hanging around trucks and various forms of traffic, just watch your mate at night time he might start randomly crossing the road and trying to stare down cars

That would be cool mate, be good to see you again.

As for the weather, who knows? Supposed to be getting a little warmer at the end of the week, although 1 Degree top temp today, so it won't take much to be warmer   I'll be keeping a careful eye on weather and will prob call yes or no earlyish on Sun unless saturdays weather makes it farkin obvious

Ok been checking weather forecasts, weather is very iffy for Sunday. Can you guys who are keen keep me posted on what the roads are like, I know main roads are ok, but all our side roads are still really icy. I can't actually get my bike out of my place yet as the path is frozen still.

I'll keep checking but be prepared for cancelling, I don't want to be responsible for wrecking someones pride and joy!

Badger,

Was out & around visiting client's yesterday (in the car).

Even on the main roads theres ice/frozen snow between the wheel tracks. Saw a bus slide onto the crossroads at the bottom of Telegraph Hill in St Day, I then had the car step out between there and Carharrack.

The temperature is meant to increase at the weekend but whether it will enough to melt the compacted stuff ....

Badger, its clear up this neck of woods but is rather dodgy around Truro. I popped down today and the A30 was fine but when i turned off at shortlanesend it was decidely dodgy and still frozen over, the fields from fraddon down were all white snow covered, yet from fraddon up towards bodmin it was like snow and ice didnt exist, still bloody cold out there mind

Yeah thanks guys, I'm going to Cancel Sunday, cos at the moment I'v still got solid ice on my garden path, it melted a little today but tonight is still supposed to be minus again. The forecast for the weekend is better but they are also warning that if the predicted south westerly wind and rain hit the northerlys then it'll snow again. Warm front hits cold front and bang! I don't want to be responsible for a whole bunch of us hooning round a bend onto black or hidden ice and wiping everyone out, or worse someone gets seriously injured.
Obviously feel free to ride out if you so wish though :D

So that is Sunday CANCELLED!

Deej if the weather seems ok I might just ride up to Par Market on the main roads to check out your stall and say hello, about time we made ourselves known to one another   !

Badger,

Thanks for thinking of us! Think it is a wise decision to cancel. Temperatures are going to drop again overnight and doubt tomorrow's temps will be high enough to melt existing snow/ice!

Will have to get something arrange for early next year :)
