I'm actually considering snow chains for the R6. Wet, salt-covered minimal tread covered summer tyres aren't the nicest to commute with each morning through this weather!

I can't get my bike up the garden path at the moment, 2" thick ice all the way

mind you the ice all over my work's car park would ruin the end of the ride

Rode Leroy's bike in this morning to give her a run out.

It's unusual enough riding a different bike without these conditions... Slip / Sliding and Wobbling about is fine on your own bike but really difficult on a strange bike...
