A mode is 100% power from the engine

B mode is 75% power from the engine, however as Nik says this will jump to A mode if you are screaming the tits off the bike, but you realy have to be screaming the tits off it to jump as the power delivery is still fantastic

C mode is 50% power from the engine FULL STOP it will not jump to B or A no matter how much you push the bike, it will still do over a TONE! but it just takes a couple seconds more to get there.

C mode is really good on long jurneys great on saving fuel and you can still have fun however A is the best

If you need help setting up the REV light on the dash I am more than happy to help, its good when you worked in a dealership lol.

Is the rev light that big white light that comes on when u turn the key??? suzukis r so difo to the kawaks
Yes the white light that comes on the clock unit is the rev light, can be programed on or to flash at the revs you want it to. Yes Colin is the friend with one, but needs me to set it up lol

Oil light? It'll come on for a few seconds when you start it up and go out when the bike has built up system pressure..

Same as above! Nothing to worry about unless it says FI, meaning Fuel Injection problem and not F1 racing mode. Main problem on GSXR is exhaust cables seizing. Lube the cables at the same time as you do your chain and it will be fine. Cables are on the Right Hand side of the bike as you sit on it, down on the exhaust, going onto the valve in the downpipes. WD40 will do, it will burn off when warm and exhausts get hot so that's why you do it with the chain every 300-600 miles

Turn off ignition, Press both and hold both buttons, turn ignition on while holding buttons down, select light on (indicated by lightning bolt), select brightness (1-5), select rev limit. Hope this helps. I think it is in the owners manual too.

It's a bit of a fun one, I always programed the new bikes to have the rev light come on for the running in period before they left, then on the first service I asked the customer when they would like them to come on and showed them how to do it at the time.

Croddman has the same problem, it's coming from the screen, he replaced his for a doublebubble from skidmarx and it got worse, I have a few friends that have got GSXR600K8 but they haven't said of anything either. Check the screen screws. Is it a standard screen? Judging by the picture it looks like a pattern one. PM Croddman and see if his still does it.
