best local road?

What's the best road in the southwest? My fav have to be plymouth to tavistock, then west down the a390

How about yours?

Hmm, so many to choose from. Have to be careful mind as you never know who is watching.

I have to say the bit of road between the mountain and Charlie's 1 is pretty special :-bd

There are some pretty good ones tend to be better in the north of the counties away from the touristy bits in the summer as i found today, been from home >okehampton> moretonhapstead (got bloody painful from there too many cars ) newton abbot> totnes> kingsbridge> Cpn Jaspers > launceston > home only got clear again north of callington the south of the county was chockered

I'll second that, great road. Also love the Dunster to Tiverton road if you go when there's no traffic.

Winkleigh to North Tawton is short but Very sweet.

Minehead to Lynmouth and on to Blackmoore Gate

I rode the crediton to bickleigh road last week and they have put some big loose chipping patches on it all over the place!! :shock:
