Re: Just Got Myself A New Track Bike :)
Well was just going to bid on wheels and fairing for the K8 to track that for the track days but just saw the zx10 with 10 mins to go and thought it would be easyer. Think it's going to scare the sh1t out of me, and will probably will end up binning it or just ridding it like a pussy.
But the best thing is it means I have to book up some more track days.

F*@k me its to small of a world. Would that be the one you said had no duty paid on it when it came into the country?
Is there anyway you can check things before going down to the DVLA?
Any help would be appreciated, but at the end of the day it was bought as a track bike but would have been nice to get it road leagal as well.
Regards,
Mark.

Re: Just Got Myself A New Track Bike :)
yes mate thats the one, I had to go to Leeds to get it from a BSB team, it was plater and kirkhams preseason test mule that was used in spain over the winter testing originally. If its got a WP steering damper on that'll be a bsb spec one. Old boy i sold it too loves his bikes and put it into its current colour scheme and added the akra's rather than the microns i fitted. I dont know how you would go about checking it without raising some suspicionBladeMan wrote:deej wrote:99% certain thats my old bike that I sold to a chap in plymouth who painted it in its current colours

Re: Just Got Myself A New Track Bike :)
old times now been replaced with a red one.
Re: Just Got Myself A New Track Bike :)
Still a pretty bike,
There are some people that can check up details of a bike from the chassis number, and if it's overy 10 years Old then sometimes you can get it put on nova import title quite easily if you wanted to go down that route.
What was your plan for the green one now mark??
