Personaly, I like to get a restricted one.......less chance of it having been abused......Mine was when I got it...(restricted that is....not abused lol).
An excellent bike....god knows why they never released them for the uk market....

Becuase the Vfr4s never did too well for the few years - expensive. When they became cheaper, people realsied the excellentness. Hence no point in the Cbr4 coming over here, UK offical.

Restricted, you mean 115mph. or 33bhp. Either way the bike can still be abused.

Anyway a bit of abuse never hurt anything... Especially the Honda 400s... :-)

When the VFR's where officially imported and there where no imports (89,90,91) around they cost more new than a GSXR750. vfr's where about £400 more at £6500. Which was a hell of a lot of money back then for a 400.

I bought a year and a half old one in 92 becuase there where the best handling bike around at that time and they where very rare.

about a year or so later the cheap grey imports flooded in and every one ended up with one which messed up the prices of the used UK ones. I should have sold it before the imports got to common it would have saved me a load of money.
