Busted Bikez! going self employed

Post by GIXXER KID »

well guys, after crashing my R1 I discovered theres good money to be made in breaking bikes.

I started by setting up an ebay shop, then it was time to get some stock. My first buy, a kmx and loads of spares, also having lots of spares left from rebuilding my R1 I was then left with no room in the garage!

It all starts from here, within a week i had found a unit, designed cards and was having a website made, now im just in the crazy week before i start trading, im absolutely skint and have decided to to motorcycle repairs aswell as salvage so i now have even more costs on getting ramps and tyre machines :O

Anyway im completely rambling on here but id really appretiate it if you guys could spread the word and like the fb page, its not much atm but its getting there.

The website isnt up and running yet but its www.bustedbikez.co.uk
Fb link is http://www.facebook.com/pages/Busted-Bi ... l&filter=1

Also hoping within the next 2 weeks to have a sofa a kettle and some bike mags down there so if your ever heading past pop in and say hello :)

the unit is located opposite the par garden centre on par moor road. its unit 8 and its down the left hand side of angel fulfillment call centre.

hope to see some of you soon :)
Adam.

cheers grampy

its been non stop this past week, ive just bought over 800 bike parts and im now sorting and listing them on ebay, issue is im still setting the shop up and repairing bikes at the same time, today i got up at 7 (was in plymouth at the gfs) got back to the unit to start listing, then had my mate turn up with a k8 gsxr 750 to have some carbon stuff fitted @-), i then drove to the guys place who ive bought all the parts from, loaded the car up again and drove to my unit, i then realised im not gonna be able to sort stuff without it being organised so i went on a road trip to jewsons in the trusty focus where i spent more money on wood, then back to the unit for a few hours of building and i ended up with this.

Image

so i chucked one car load of parts on there and then came home to the pc to list on ebay, and here i am after 2hrs on ebay, having a five min break before another 3-4hrs of listing :'(

i bloody hope everything pays off in the end
