Right heres mine:
Best:
1. 120mph all the way ride upto Ludlow when i first got my Triumph.
2. Going round the Nurburgring on the GPX400R which now belongs to Blu.
3. Spending 2 weeks thrashing round the Alps at ridiculous speeds and with stunning scenery in 2004.
4. Thrashing a DT125LC round a motox track at Marldon.
5. Riding from Plymouth to Exeter across Dartmoor which took 1hr 45 mins on a Puch Maxi which had to be pushed up some of the hills - this is when u know you've truely caught the biking bug at 16 yrs old.
6. Getting my knee down, and then doing with Blu on the back in front of some losers who were failing to get ther knees down ona local roundabout.
Bad:
1. Sept 1998 - I had a tankslapper at 90 mph and got airlifted to hospital - this wasn't so bad but it meant they cut my brand new £150 leather jacket to shreds (the b'stards) and it meant i had to go without a bike for about a year and i had to move back in with my parents (pure hell!!). Later that month i also had my license revoked for getting 6 points in my first 2 years.
2. Having a 15mph highside pulling away from a set of traffic lights after the afore mentioned 120mph ride upto Ludlow - this meant sitting at the side of the road looking at my smashed up daytona which i'd had less than a month and then being driven all the way back to plymouth by a recovery truck - just me the driver and a smashed up bike the most depressing 6 hrs of my life.

Re: Best & Worst of Biking
Best:
Getting my SP1.
lapping the Nurburgring and not crashing.
getting permission to go back this year.
checking that my speedo works upto 160mph.
first and only trackday at Donnington.
Worst:
everyday when people try to kill me on roundabouts.
being abroad on a bike and going through snow in summer kit.
thats about it. No poper crashes. No breakdowns. No disasters.

Re: Best & Worst of Biking
Five best:
1. 1984 crossed America LA to Miami on CB750
2. Taking a Thunderace out on a days test ride around N. Devon & Cornwall
3. Attending Faro European bike festival '99
4. Passing test on borrowed Suzuki GT185 after falling off it in a petrol station on the way to the test
5. Realising I wasn't go to die as I slid to a face down halt (6'' short of a lamp post)after a 90mph spill on my RD400
Three worst:
1. Exiting Okehampton through the twisties in Hatherleigh direction on Thunderbird Sport, a little too quick, pipes down, rear wheel lifted, kerb approaching and absolutely no idea how the motorcycle recovered but it did. Following SP1 rider asked for a repeat, the sparks looked great. Yeah right.
2. Accepting a lift into college on the back of a mates FS1E. The c**t wheelied all the way across Laira bridge between the lines of cars and anywhere else he was able to hoist it, absolutely the dumbest stuff I have come across. Have not been on the back of a bike since and never intend to again.
3. The same mate slammed into the back of my RD400, him now on RD350 with a pillion. We both went down, pillion flung through a hedge, broken pelvis and other injuries, the rider was unconcious and not breathing for a while (Twat, turned out to be asthma), I lost all the skin off my arse and couldn't sit down properly for quite a while. The good news was his bike was a write off and mine wasn't, and the pillion recovered ok and got a BIG payment off the insurance. He he.

Re: Best & Worst of Biking
only been riding since oct so havent had many but here goes...
1. Any dry, clear day that we have had this winter.(there hasnt been many)
2.My mate buying his TZR125 and actually having someone to go riding with on a regular basis.
3.Riding back from bikerbirds meet, with my mate simon, and watching him hit the NOS on his bike and pulling a power wheelie down a hill at well over 120mph, and pulling away from me like i was standing still..
4.My first ride out and visit to fowlers of bristol with 4-5 mates...awesome
5.Making it through the winter in one piece...(knocks on wood)
thats about it for goods...now for the bads...
1. Hitting a patch of diesal on my test and coming off.....
2. Running out of petrol, pushing it to the petrol station, filled her up and she wouldnt start, asked some guy to give me a push and tried to bump it with the ignition off (he wasnt impressed) phoned some mechanic mates who spent 45 mins looking at it and trying to bump it, before we realised someone had turned my fuel off!!!! yes im a t**t!!!
3. Being told how much work my baby needs to put her right, then realising i cant afford to have it done
