Petrol tanker strike looming...

Post by loftylee »

Just read an article that is warning of an upcoming petrol tanker strike...

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up so that we can all still have our fun over the Easter break.

Maybe a jerry can filling spree is in order...just in case.. :-bd

It'll be fine, the government are drafting the army. God forbid people protest in a way that will cause disruption for them. By filling up Jerry cans etc aren't we just circumventing the whole point of the protest?

..as opposed to sitting at home on a day like today...agreeing with the protest but missing out on our bank holiday rides...hmm..I understand what you mean..but putting it into practice is oh so difficult when there's a day off...a bike...and 2 moors.. :D

I got email today from one our fuel suppliers advising of the strike from 4th April which is looking to last about a week but it could be longer. Work have asked me to top up our fuel tanks at work and my supplier had to check that they could deliver the quantity I was asking for
