Blood Bikes and VAT - Petition

Post by AndyW »

Similar to the petition for the Air Ambulance service....

Blood Bikes- no VAT on Fuel petition:

I know several of the guys that ride for the local blood bike group Freewheelers....all volunteers doing a great job often at bloody unsociable hours. All the funds to run the service come from donations - as well as riding the bikes often in the middle of the night providing this service 365 days of the year.......you'll always see the guys out at local events 'rattling' the donations buckets
....it would be nice if the funds they work so hard to raise went a bit further, a fuel bill reduced by 20% would help a lot!

Done :D

But from their current legislations to Tax companies for their own parking lots, I don't hold much hope they will do anything to help vital services. Sorry to get political but this lot seem to be the most out touch bunch of rich public schooled f**kwits since, well, the last time they were in :-s
