Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Was out for about 8 hours in the end as I had a couple of jobs to do in Hartland and Georgeham. First bit up to Torrington was good - as were hot chocolate & sausage map from the van there! But the sun went in later & the last leg home down the ND link road was very chilly - trying to learn not to stiffen up when I get cold! @-)

This is where I've been today:

Good route - can't wait to do it on a bigger bike though...with heated grips...or on a hot day!! :))

Lots of bikes out & like the big signs on the A39 saying "Better weather = more bikes: check your mirrors"

How was West Bay? :)):

Yeah was at Torrington Common about 12.30 and there were about a dozen bikes altogether, but mostly in 2s & 3s. Spoke to a bloke from Shebbear & one from Hatherleigh... Saw a bunch of lads on sport bikes heading south sonewhere around Winkleigh & a group of chopper types near Barnstaple & quite a few bikes generally on my way round. Your route looks good too - used to work for the Exmoor Nat Park so know my way round up there.. :)):

Mine took me about 4hrs riding time on the 125!

We picked lucky with opting for the Sunday run..only downside was losing one of our number who had to turn back with mechanical probs..apart from that a quality day..good to meet you and Mr Smiler :)): :)): :)):
