Hi - Any 2 stroke fans on here?

Post by Vdue »

Hi Everyone,

Relatively new to the Cornwall area, inbetween Liskeard and Looe.

Was hoping to find some local meets but nothing really come up on the internet and then came across this site.

Have a few bikes:
Bimota V-Due
Aprilia RS 250
ZX6R

Hoping there are some other 2 stroke fans on here.

Hopefully get along to a few meets now Summer has finally arrived....

Cheers,
Chris

Hi, more than 2 strokes is masterbation lol

Vdue and a RS250, dam that's a fine garage. Your Vdue FI or carbs, heard the FI was the problem and they sorted them by running carbs instead

I'm about as far away from you as it gets in the SW but I'd sure like to see your V-Due. I have a couple of RGV 250 VJ23s :D

Ahh..now I know 2 people with V-Dues..and the original one that I know of (Italian import) has just been rebuilt, serviced, tuned and is coming out to play this week hopefully..will get some pics if I can.
If the guy involved is interested then I will pass on his details for you...not sure if there is some sort of V-Due owners club or something..but shared knowledge is always good in my book.

Welcome to SWB too :P

Ah the sweet sweet smell of burning two stroke oil, you cant get that out of your system.. All my bikes were 2 strokes before the FZR RU.

I started out on a Honda H100, then an NSR125, an RG250MkIII, and finally an RG500 which didn't last much more than 5 mins before the bottom end was starved of oil due to oil pump failure. Knock knock a knocking!

Welcome...
