Yup definitely wet after Compton Abbas - wet, muddy & mad! Hope everyone home safe & thawing/drying out.

Enjoyed it all despite less than ideal conditions & as always it was great to see everyone & meet some new people too.

Had a laugh sitting on Mr Smiler's Adventurer as both feet at least 6 inches off the ground - but discovered the ER6-F fits me quite well :)):

Thanks Simon for organising and hope you're not still stranded at the airport...

What an eventful day!

We had..an R1 that disliked its standard can so much it unbolted itself, Lottie who spat off her horn (??) another R1 with a magnet in its rear tyre and a CCM with a variable speedo! =))

Great to see some new faces out today, hope to see you on the next outing (weather permitting eh?? lol) Still cant quite get over how many brave mad folk turned up! Lottie left the house looking spanky clean..little did she know the mud, gravel and watery sludge she'd have to contend with ! Poor thing.....has that 'hedge-backwards' look about her now! =))

Hopefully Simon has made it home by now....its never nice leaving one of the group awaiting the recovery truck :( Big thanks to him for putting this together, to Gazkwak for being our TEC all day and my Mr Smiler for getting all remaining peeps onto familiar roads to respective homes :ymhug:

Very nice to meet you all today. My thanks especially to the route planner and ride leader billinom8s and the TEC gazkwak. Very enjoyable ride, shame it rained so hard after the airfield.
Hope you're all sorted billinom8s.
Looking forward to the next friendly (I think the pace of a normal ride might be a bit much for this oldboy).
