Feckin' weather! I soooo wanna go for a ride :(

Post by TLS-Moose »

As it says, this blimmin' weather is a pain in the bum - I haven't wanted to go for a ride so much for soooo long :( :( The weather forecast led me to beleive there might be a window of opportunity this afternoon, but alas it was not to be ........

Hope next weekend is dry ..........

I've just been out. It ain't all that bad. Wet roads, yes, but not too cold. All that rain will have washed the salt away too, happy days. :-bd

I would of liked to go for a ride too, did my chain tension as it needed doing and looked like it was clearing up then alas it chucked it down :(

Bike needs a clean so may do that before work tomorrow as on the late shift.

Do none of you guys go green-laning? I miss riding the road and track bikes, but I don't think about either of them in the depths of Winter, it's time to get muddy!

I have a landrover for that. I also have a (new to me) bike sat in the garage for the past week and I haven't been able to ride it yet ;)

Was green landing yesterday, around Newton Abbot, weather doesn't really matter. Had lighting, hail and sunshine yesterday :)

Yep - twas a cracking thunderstorm wasn't it :O the lightning was particularly good. If you were out with mr. S you should have popped in ..... I could have come and cleared some of the lanes for you ..... :D

Unfortunately Mr S not out, thanks for the coffee offer though :)
Didn't see any 4x4's yesterday just a few tyre tracks.
Some cracking lanes down your way but some of them could do with a landrover or 2 going down them to clear some of the branches :) although you'd do well to do the lane in a 4x4 that exits right past a front door down the house owners steps, :80:
