Mapped at Tim Blakemore's

Post by MikeF »

Took my 2010 gixer thou to Tim's place in Bristol after reading someones experience on here.

I was using a Healtech FI Tuner Pro, setup was BMC air filter, cat removed, set valve deactivated, O2 removed and MTC single can.

I loaded a map onto the Healtech FI from the site just to get it to the shop, had a quick blast of the map, although it was very smooth the power was not quite there. Tim did a before and after blast to see the power gains, I forgot to ask whether he did the before pull with the map that I loaded or whether he deactivated the FI and did it on the standard ECU.

This was all on 95 octane, either way the before power was 157.15 RW BHP with 73.35ft-lbs and afterwards (forgive the chuffed face) 170.75 RW BHP with 80.41ft-lbs

Mike

PS - Will get the graph up when my internet stops turning itself off every 2 minutes and if anyone wants the map feel free to ask.

Thats a proper result, Tim managed to get an extra 5 bhp out of my blade, just by sorting out the fueling, he and Wendy certainly know their stuff :D
