No,it's not to bad.It is my general purpose winter shitter/touring/wet weather bike so I am not to precious about it luckily,if my Gixxer had gone down the road I would have been really peed off,but apart from the cosmetics which I can live with the whole list of casualties to the cause are right hand rear sets, right hand crash bung, brake lever, handlebars, front mudguard and the heated grips.Me leathers, helmet and boots also took a right kicking, which is good cause it saved me from taking it instead :YMPRAY:

Great Day :-)

Like to add my thanks to (old) Simon and SWB for organising a brilliant day.

An interesting day for me in the advanced group (first time - and last for a while) as the inters were overflowing.
Really good to follow some very talented riders (although usually only for a few hundred yards) and I'm sure it's not the size of the engine that matters, but the size of your dangly bits :-) pity, as it's no so easy to upgrade them !

Hope I didn't get in anybodies way on the bends.

The best bit was not falling off, either before, or after the flag :-)

Thanks all.
Gerry
PS Simon - I've had more fun in my 50's than in my 30's - have a good year.

Hope you all had a great day. Judging by the comments and pictures you all did. I really need to get my self on a track day (track day virgin!) Just for future reference, can anyone who went to Llandow let me know roughly how much the day cost in total?? Cheers

Normally for me

Riders place £55
Accommodation £22
Van Rental £35 (shared price)
Bike Fuel £30
Van fuel £40

Although I normally get ripped off so this can be done cheaper, get a share on a trailer rental or go with a Van owner.

You have a year until next one.....
