You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. F.A.O ALL RIDERS COMING ALONG TO THIS BIMBLE OUT TO PIXIE LAND

This is supposed to be a fun morning/day out for all involved. You as going to be spending nearly 12 hours out playing.

Please get some sleep the night before, you don't want to be fighting stay awake.

Give your bike the once over, I know I will be after recent events.

Don't ride like an asshole, we all have done it but everyone wants to have a good day.

Keep an eye on the weather, if it looks like it's going to be crap, it may get cancelled. I will make final decision at post it up at 6pm on Saturday on this thread.

Because of numbers we will be using the 'drop off system' along with a TAIL END CHARLIE or TEC if you prefer.
If you are not familiar with this method of group riding then just shout and it will be explained.

Would it be ok to try a system along side this that helps keep the group together but also looks after each other ?

It's very simple, you just keep the rider behind you in your mirror. That way if they vanish from sight, you throttle off slightly until they come back into view. If they don't appear after a bit this could mean something more serious. Breakdown, accident, lost etc. As you slow down the rider in front looses you from sight and slows down and so on and so on. Then I all of a sudden have no riders with me so I turn around.

Can everyone please take my number aswell please, that way if there is a problem you can call me and I will stop the ride.

Thanks.

DANCE DANCE and DANCE... get ye sun cloggs on and do it in your garden, in the streets, in your local, if need be, we will blow any rain clouds away 8-}

Or of course we could just wait and see nearer the weekend.

ohhh ffs! Where did Summer go???? :(

Forecasts wherever I look don't appear too promising for Saturday night tbh....but knowing how the British weather likes to keep us on our toes, I will wait till closer to the weekend.

IF this does go ahead, I will aim to be at Exeter Services for 3.15ish (leaving for Drum Bridges about 3.30am...I actually winced typing that  ) Anyone wishing to meet along the way, shout...if not I shall assume you are Exeter bound!

btw, have you SEEN Red5 dance??????? =))

Sorry guys but I think I'm going to have to bail on this one. I was hoping to find a way of getting enough sleep to start out at 02:30 and not wake the house up too but I can't. Hope you all have a good day and fingers crossed the weather is good for you.

Bleeping bleeping bleep country, bleep weather, bleeping Americans and their bleeping weather bleep front.

Sorry people, after much praying, dancing by red5 and promises of good behaviour, the rain gods have quite literally pissed on our parade.

I am gonna have to postpone this jaunt to pixie land due to the onset of the apocalypse. Well ok, maybe not that bad but timing couldn't be worse now could it ?

I Know some may think it's a little shower but when you are talking 400+ miles over 12 hours it turns into a day of non fun and damp Leather.

So this Sunday's RTTB is off.

I do have two alternate dates for later in the year so will run a poll for a week for you all to vote on.

Thought best to let you know now so you can make plans for this weekend.
