I'll be with a few people riding from exeter services if anyone wants to join. Meeting at the top car park 8.15 to leave 8.30 and going via Tiverton I think.

Yes usually riding along pissing past the group at high speed, i remember a couple of years a go on the moretonhampstead road from Whiddon down we had been pootling along at about 35/40 all the way from winkleigh, the TDR was choking up, gets to the straight just about to hit the loud pedal and wind the little bugger up and smoke a few of the people in front with a bit of 2 stroke, checks over my shoulder to see 2 rozzers coming down the line at a rapid rate of knotts ,

went to beer festival at local pub saturday night, met loads of people i had not seen for a long time, they shut the bar a 2 o,clock in the morning, so i had to go home then, decided that riding bike in that weather in that state was not recommended when i got up the next morning, so did not get there , 1019 registered riders

Lots and far too hot.

Andy led the ride again with me 2nd on the road with 2 other friends. Was nice to turn up and the 4 of us to be ushered around to the front.

Photo of the top part of the madding crowd. With us lined up in front. Andy was loaned the Aprilia Caponord by SP, me on the MV. Second photo was taken from the signing on tents on the right about a third of the way down.

Bottom part from the signing on tents. However the queue goes around the corner, up the other road and then they started parking them either side of the exit.

On the ride, I didn’t have enough fuel to get to the end, so I shot on ahead to get to the garage at Lapford to fill up and rejoin at the front as they came past. Unfortunately the garage had half the pumps out and was far too busy to wait. So I thought I’d carry on to the next one down the Barsntaple road to find the route then went up to Winkleigh, so had another completely clear run up to there. :D Filled up with plenty of time before they came through.

Unfortunately there were two crashes during the ride. One that needed the air ambulance.
And Si, did not see any Police all day.
