Two things about this .....
1. I thought the requirement for thisfor bikers had been revoked
2. Those wonderful Frenchies, even though it was made a legal requirement for motorists to carry them, there isno penalty for not having them :))

A working motorbike (!)
Passport - yours should be OK
EHIC (Formerly E101) - check, but I think yours is out of date (mine is)
Insurance cover (possibly green card depending on company)
European breakdown recovery - about £45 from RAC
Euro's - Eur115 for balance of B&B plus whatever spending money you think you need .....
Evening clothing & footwear
Spare bulbs for bike
Chainlube
Hi-Vis vest (I have the odd spare one .....)
Panniers &/or tankbag
Space for my bag
Bike lock - mine will do both bikes

Oooh, an ickle bit of insulating tape for your headlight .....
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....
