You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Well, what a day.

Started out early, damn early...........................AND DRY !!!

Met up with a dodgy looking bunch in a layby just outside Trago.
A good run down to Plymouth to pick up Scott and Dave

then it began to rain....
and rain.
Roads were nice and clear so we made good time down to St Awful, not hurried just a good steady pace.

Spotted a badger that wasn't flattened outside Tescos so pulled in to say hello, turned out to be friendly

After that i handed over the job to to the local pixie, we had a good run down to Lands End, milled about for a bit then did the important thing - HEADED FOR BREAKFAST

After breaky we headed for fuel then it began - THE MOTHER OF ALL RAINSTORMS :)) it pissed it down for about 20 mins, even some of those with textiles were soaked to the skin. My leathers are still drying out.

When badgers travel visa got revoked near the border we headed off for a blip along the 30 then 38 and down the Torpoint twisties, for once they were pretty clear
jumped on the ferry to jaspers, said hello to a fellow swber who had snuck out then ,made the run for home.

Popped into East cliff cafe for a cuppa with devonblue and avengerpenguin then i went home as it was end of day.

Thanks to all that turned up and made it a top day. Congrats to all the junction markers as you didn't loose anyone all day - no mean feat i can tell you. We try to loose at least one on a rideout. ;)

Cheers Badger and Kawasakiracer for all your help.

Thanks everyone, big thanks to Badger and Billinomates for the organising, sorry we carried on and missed the coffee (although not a hot drink fan myself, wasn't paying much attention and followed the riders that were home bound) big thanks to the cafe for the Bacon, 462 miles in the end..... That's half the Lands End - John O Groats trip, easy miles!
Finally after 3 years I've done RTTB! Same again next year, less water next time? (Although I was dryer than most and glad I kept the clear visor on after breakfast)
