Bonfire!!! 28th Sept *postponed*

Post by Smiler »

ok, so this is a provisional date as it will obviously be weather dependant!!

To be held at the same location nr Highbridge as the BBQ, we are hoping to light the mahooosive bonfire that we built in the summer

Arrival from 5pm, we thought of maybe doing hotdogs (trying to keep it simple!) but this will depend on what numbers can come along for that date, and also whether we book a portaloo.

Can you please add your name below so I can gather rough ideas of numbers?

Thanks people, due to some of our fab SWBers we have quite a heap to burn up!! yay!!! :)):

off to a wedding that Saturday... How rude of some one to get married when you're thinking of having a bonfire :))
Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

Sorry off to my Dad's wedding that weekend :( :( .... I've been told that leather bike trousers do not constitute Smart Black Trousers :-\ ! Jeans and SWB t shirt is also not considered Smart Attire :-o :-o .....

Might have to visit a few charity shops for 'Dead Man's Trousers and Jacket' :ymsmug: :ymsmug:

Sorry everyone, it doesn't look like this is going to happen (at least for this date anyway) I will try and arrange another possible date before unless you all want to do this in the New Year?

Skippy, as and when it does you're more than welcome to pitch up

I hope me having prior plans have nothing to do with this? I know I'm the lynch pin of the group, and many people feel it isnt the same if I'm not there.

I can do any 6th Saturday of the month.

nice one on organising it though, can't wait until we set fire to it and watch the old fire devils come out to play.

So I take it bringing the partially dried paint was never an option ?........../:)
