zzr1400 help needed

Post by badgerKDD »

Hi guys, a friend of mine who also used to be on the site ( but can't access the site through his work computer and his personal laptop is sick with a virus) is looking for help with getting some new front discs. So the actual question is: his ZZR is a 2006 model, does anyone know if the discs are year specific or do they cover various years? We've found some decent NOS ones on Ebay but they are for the 2008 model.

Also can any Kwak fans recommend a website that gives part numbers and fiches etc. I only know Suzuki based reference sites so any good sources would be appreciated.

Cheers all :D

Not sure if 2008 will fit but ZZR1400s have a serious problem with disk warping. What year did they introduce ABS on the ZZR as that will mean different discs.

I would seriously consider aftermarket because any used Kwak disks will probably be warped.

The Chinese suppliers suggest their discs fit from 2006-2010 so as long as you get the correct ABS/non ABS you should be ok.

Cornwall Kawasaki have an online fiche, that's a good way to confirm parts compatability. I don't know an awful lot about the zzr, apart from they're blinking fast. :)):
