I knew Ashley and his wife Kath, I was aquainted with a bunch of other folks primarily meeting them through Ash.
I rode with a group of people (running in my SV) on a sombre trip to Hale, Cornwall to scatter some ashes for a fellow that passed on after crashing his Duc (Andy? Foggy rep? Forgive me if I remember incorrectly).
Met a bunch of other Exetarians at Brands in 99 when we all camped and I was the 4 wheel support vehicle (my CBi Refrigeration VW Transporter
I also knew the folks in Seaton that rode, only really remember 1st names though.
Graham in Seaton, had a Bandit 12 but got shot of it for a red 2000 VTR 1000.
Nigel in Seaton, had a Duc 748 in Red Bull colours.
Dave Hellier in Seaton, had a green ZX9 and sold it for a blue R1.
Other aquaintances.
Mad Max from Exeter, had an old rat bike and a salvaged Fireblade, he'd ride around with jeans and flexible tumble drier hose and duct tape on his knee as a slider.
Colin from Exeter, he, as he once put it, "dug holes in the road for a living for the water board." Think he had a trick 'Camel' painted Honda?
Ian Flemming???? Not sure, I have a face stuck in my mind and hope it isn't the guy I'm picturing. RIP either ways.
