Acumen alarm

Hi all, does anyone on here have an Acumen alarm? Mines the one with the P & torch sign on the fob, I want to remove the battery on my Gixxer, I don't know what effect it will have on the alarm etc? Have been on forums with answers on service modes etc but is all a bit confusing.

Please don't fire electrical drawings & wiring stuff at me as I'm electrically illiterate.

Can't help you with the Acumen one, but my Meta one just carries on as normal if you disconnect the battery for any amount of time. Never had a car/bike where you have had to do anything to the alarm before or after battery disconnection.

Ive got a Meta on my gsxr. Replaced the battery without any issues.

Battery was disconnected for about 10 mins.
