New workhorse/toy

Post by avengerpenguin »

Thought I would share as we all like a good bike pic etc, just bought a new toy to play with and become a bit of a workhorse.

Ex yamaha bike, so only done 1000 miles, well looked after. The idea is that it becomes a kind of do everything apart from going fast bike, so I will commute to london with it, take the wife touring around a bit, and then when I have some free time chuck some knobblies on and do some trail riding!

Just need to get all that ADV crap for it, GPS, Panniers, Toolkits and I will be ready to travel the world!!!!

I am hoping the fact I am keeping the ZX6R redeems the fact that I have bought an adventure bike.

Although does it mean I can stop nodding and acknowledging any other bikers, or is that reserved just for the BMW owners???
